Preparing for Space Exploration
Stock Up on Resources
Before venturing into space, ensure you have large reserves of resources, as shipbuilding will be highly resource-intensive.
Make sure you’re well-prepared in terms of energy production and have a solid stockpile of Uranium.
Building the Orbital Military Center
To begin your journey into space, you’ll need to construct the Orbital Military Center, which will allow you to launch your rocket into orbit.
To unlock this building, research the Space Age.
Unlocking the Shipyard
Next, research Shipyard to unlock the infrastructure needed to build space units. These ships will be essential for both offensive and defensive operations.
Unlocking the Space Station
Research Space Station—this building will be crucial for your expansion into space. It will allow you to construct future ships that you can pilot yourself.
Once these technologies are unlocked, it’s time to begin your ascent into space and prepare for launch!
Navigating Space
Use the Orbital Military Center to travel into space.
Once in space, you can switch between Character Mode and Rocket Mode by pressing the F key. The rocket is faster in space, but you’ll need your character to enter space stations or other spacecraft.
Building and Entering a Space Station
After reaching space, construct a Space Station. Approach it in Rocket Mode, then switch to Character Mode and move toward one of the outer doors. Left-click on the door to open it and enter the station.
Head to the Command Center and spawn a ship you previously designed using the Ship Editor from the main menu.
Conquering Space
Now that you’re in space, you’re ready to conquer the countless planets available to you!
